Bobby’s acting career started at the age of 6 when his former agent Sandra Singer talented spotted him in a local production of Grease. By the age of 7 Lockwood had auditioned for Disney USA and had been offered, his first professional job in the industry, the role of Patch, in 101 Dalmatians II: Patch’s London Adventure. At the age of 7 Bobby joined Sandra Singer Stage School, where he continued his performing arts and dance training. Bobby has continued to display his diversity as an actor appearing in a range of television, film and theatre productions.
Lockwood has appeared in The Bill as part of a 3 episode storyline, he also had a lead role as JJ in Disney’s Break Kids- which was canceled and replaced by As The Bell Rings a year later (which stared Brad Kavanagh who started alongside Bobby in House of Anubis). In 2011 Lockwood started in House of Anubis as Mick Campbell for the first two series, before landing the role of Rhydian Morris for CBBC’s award winning show Wolfblood for 3 series. Lockwood has also had a starring role in Up All Night based on the CBBC show Friday Download.
Bobby has starred along side his friend Dan O’Malley(Omalls) in numerous projects and challenges of Dan’s on his youtube channel.
Bobby won a BAFTA in November 2013 for being the Best Performer for his role as Rhydian on Wolfblood. In 2014 Bobby learnt gymnastics in 8 weeks and competed in Tumble. After constantly scoring high marks and regularly beiing at tue top of the leader board, Bobby went on to be crowned the winner.
Lockwood is currently working on the indie film Vikes and has completed filming Honey 3, Access All Areas and Mum’s List which are due to be released this year.
